He uses a variety of adjusting techniques, electrical stimulation, ultrasound and DRS traction to help your body heal.
Dr. Richert is a licensed acupuncturist in addition to having his doctorate in chiropractic. He has had lots of success using acupuncture alone or in conjunction with chiropractic manipulations and physical therapy. When the acute phase of pain is past, he will assign exercises to perform at home to help heal and stay healthy.

No. Dr. Richert will evaluate your case and discuss the possible treatment plans with you. Not everyone who comes in gets "their neck cracked". Sometimes it isn't the best course of treatment, sometimes it is the patient's wish. Dr. Richert has several methods in his tool box to address your problem such as DRS traction, acupuncture, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, soft tissue massage, activator adjusting and manual manipulation. He will discuss your options with you and use the method you are comfortable with.
Chiropractic college is a five year degree. Dr. Richert graduated with honors from a fully accredited college of chiropractic. Dr. Richert had as many medical diagnosis classes as a medical doctor would take along with a more in-depth study of the muscles and bones. Chiropractors are musculoskeletal specialists so they have even more training in school than a general practitioner would have on the muscles, bones and nerves.
